Terms of Use

Sus helps you understand cosmetic ingredient labels in plain English. These terms explain what the app can do, what it cannot promise, and how subscriptions work.

Informational only

Sus gives cosmetic ingredient context. It is not medical advice or a diagnosis.

Apple handles payments

Subscriptions, scan passes, cancellation, and refunds are managed through Apple.

Use it responsibly

Do not upload private, unlawful, harmful, or non-product content.

Using Sus

Sus provides skincare product lookup, ingredient parsing, profile-aware cosmetic analysis, scan history, and related app features. You may use Sus only for lawful personal use and in line with these terms.

Not Medical Advice

Sus results are not medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a substitute for a dermatologist, physician, pharmacist, or other qualified professional. If you have allergies, irritation, a skin condition, pregnancy-related concerns, medication interactions, or a medical question, speak with a qualified professional before using a product.

Results And Accuracy

Grades, warnings, comparisons, ingredient explanations, and product recommendations are generated from available product text, your skin profile, cached formula facts, product lookup sources, and AI analysis. Packaging, ingredient order, concentrations, regional formulas, and regulations can change. Sus may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. You are responsible for checking the package and deciding whether a product is right for you.

Your Account And Guest Use

Some features may work in guest mode. Other features, including synced history, entitlement restore, or account-specific settings, may require authentication. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping sign-in access secure.

Subscriptions And Purchases

Sus may offer weekly subscriptions, yearly subscriptions, and limited scan or shopping passes. Purchases are processed by Apple through in-app purchase. RevenueCat helps Sus read entitlement status so the app can unlock paid features.

  • Subscription prices, trials, billing periods, and local taxes are shown by Apple before purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple ID subscription settings before renewal.
  • Refunds, cancellation, billing issues, and payment method problems are handled by Apple under Apple's own terms.
  • If a valid purchase is not showing, use Restore Purchases in the app or contact us at hello@getsusapp.com.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not upload private personal information, payment details, medical records, unlawful material, or content you do not have rights to use.
  • Do not attempt to bypass free limits, subscription gates, rate limits, security controls, or entitlement checks.
  • Do not scrape, resell, reverse engineer, overload, interfere with, or misuse the app, APIs, backend, cached analyses, or product data.
  • Do not use Sus to make medical, legal, regulatory, or safety claims about products.

Waitlist And Launch Updates

If you join the waitlist, you agree that we may contact you with launch and product updates according to the consent choices you make. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails, skip optional SMS alerts, or request deletion by contacting us.

Changes And Availability

We may update Sus, change features, adjust limits, replace model providers, improve scoring, pause access, or discontinue parts of the service. We try to keep Sus reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sus is provided as is and as available. We are not responsible for losses caused by reliance on a scan result, product formula change, third-party service, network issue, unavailable feature, or incorrect product data.

Apple Terms

When you download or purchase through the App Store, Apple's terms and in-app purchase rules also apply. Apple is not responsible for Sus support, scan results, or app content.
